The Municipal Museum is located in the historic center of the town of Oliveira de Frades, in a building from the 1940s.

It brings together archaeological collections with Roman coins, castreja and Roman ceramics, milestones, Neolithic objects and an ethnological exhibition where linen production, weaving and agriculture take the most privileged place.

Furthermore, the history of the municipality comes to life with the explanation of its entire organization and even the coat of arms that accompanies Oliveira de Frades to this day.
